Refund policy

The core business of Davos Safety is to provide affordable ways to mitigate airborne pathogens and pollution, and every single product at Davos Safety has a Creative Common Public Domain designation, which means it’s free to download and make one for your own. However, not everyone has the leisure to print and assemble any of our products, so the purpose of sales is to help people achieve protection with the lowest cost possible.

Hence there is no return nor refund policy, but instead, customers can contact us for a free (except shipment) replacement parts if the products you purchase from us suffer damage that compromises usage and safety of the products, within 30 days after purchase.

Our design principle has enabled users to fully self-care of the products, including self serving and troubleshooting, hence it’s very intuitive and easy to do repairs on your own with parts we ship to you.

If your replacement is accepted, we’ll notify you with the shipment of the replacement parts, as well as instructions on how you can fix the broken parts yourself. You can always contact us for any return question at info@davossafety.com.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Preferably you can take pictures and videos and send them to us, so we know which parts we can supply to you and what instructions we can offer for self repairs.

Exceptions
Certain types of items cannot be replaced, like health related goods (such as filter and filtration media), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and third party goods (such as silicone gels for making the elastomer). 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We’ll send you a return label and instructions to return the item(s). $20 shipping fee is applied for the return.

Refunds
As stated above, the only condition for refund is EU 14-day cooling off period. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
